A leap of Faith

Most of us, if not all, may have encountered tough times and situations in our lives.  These experiences may be due to occurrences that we saw to be too difficult to adequately handle or deal with.  Depending on how badly they hit us, the loss of a parent or relative, the loss of a job or even a strained relationship amongst loved ones, could end up leaving us broken emotionally, psychologically or even spiritually.

However, the response to such circumstances would definitely differ from one person to the other, due to how we all handle emotions. Rather, there is the likelihood of experiencing similar feelings of pain, hurt and doubts. This is obviously not the kind of feeling anyone would want to wish for himself.

We all want to live as peaceful as possible in this world, without encountering any form of setbacks or misfortunes. But unfortunately, life is neither a fairytale nor a fanfare. Life is spiritual; it is a warfare! Everything that goes on in life is not an act of mere coincidence. It is definitely backed by spirituality. We must learn to comprehend everything that happens in this world spiritually, before trying to associate it with any form of intellectual interpretation. (1Corinthians 2:13-14)

Therefore, we need to take up the full amour of God so as to survive this warfare of life. In spite of the many difficulties or darts that are thrown at us by the enemy, we must take up the shield of faith to keep us moving. (Ephesians 6:16)

The Word itself tells us how impossible it is to please God without having Faith. This should therefore explain how important it is to keep our faith strong and firmly rooted in Him.

By continuously reading the Word and acting upon it, we tend to naturally develop a strong belief in God and His works. No matter how difficult life gets or how tough situations become, just keep the faith in Him; He won’t let you let down in anyway. Also, there is the need to keep good relationship with the men of God assigned over our lives. We need to learn to trust the words they speak into our lives. Words are spirits; they are alive therefore they will definitely work!

Be it immediately or at a later time, they will surely work. So keep your Faith in Him and all things will fall in place for you.
