WHY JUDGE WHEN FALLIBLE?

WHY JUDGE WHEN FALLIBLE?
Due to our human nature, we are liable to being fallible. We tend to take certain decisions that are not pleasant. Sometimes, we even end up being associated with our wrongdoings and get lashed out by people. These comments are often derogatory and never in favor of the individuals in question. They are used to tarnish the images of these individuals, without even thinking about their positive traits.
Even when these persons encounter Christ and receive a change of heart, nothing still happens. We continue to keep on our judgmental cloaks and rub their past in their faces, forgetting that we are also fallible and could one day be in their shoes (Galatians 6:1-4).
Instead of emulating the nature and likeness of Christ, we rather prefer to bask in our righteousness and pride in our salvation.
How would you feel if you are constantly reminded of a past you earnestly wish to forget? Or even, a mistake you can’t even forgive yourself for. Terrible, right? So why then must we render instant justice to those who want to take a better path?
As Christians, it is up to us to make everyone feel loved and wanted, just as Jesus Christ does. The gift of salvation isn’t meant for a particular group of people. It is for as many that profess Christ as their Lord and Savior. Therefore, you should never be the stumbling block to the salvation of others. You must rather be the path that leads them to Christ, telling them about His sufficient grace and mercy.
“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness”. I John 1:9
Remember that as long as we have confessed our sins and have shown the signs of complete repentance, our righteousness is restored unto us. Regardless of how sinful you may have been in the past, God still wants you as a part of His fold. Forget about your past wrongdoings and mistakes. As long as you want to be a part of Christ, they do not count anymore. They have all been cleansed by the blood of Jesus.
And to those of us that have been privileged to receive salvation, this should not be a passport to criticize others. Judgment is not ours, but the Lord’s. So till He comes back for those that are His, let us all come together and win more souls into His kingdom.
