Belonging to a House

BELONGING TO A HOUSE
Chief Text: Mark 7:24-29
“But Jesus said unto her, Let the children first be filled: for it is not meet to take the children’s bread, and cast it unto the dogs.”
Mark 7:27
The blessings of God for the church first happen to those who are children of the house. The term ‘House’ is symbolic of a Church family. Naturally, a man’s riches, glory and honour go to the children first. When a father wants to will his property, he gives it to his children, not strangers. So the blessings of God for each church mostly go to those who are steadfast members there. If you are a Christian who is always moving from one church to another, and not a permanent member of a church, it means you are living without belonging to any house – you can never be truly blessed.
Worthy of note is the fact that children who belong to the house work in the house – they are committed to that house. You find them at all times coming around – they mean well for the house. As such, they have a father over their lives. Some do not have any father over their lives. All children have fathers who speak over their lives, bless them and prophesy to them. You must understand that there is some level of glory and honour that you can only receive from a father.
Develop the art of becoming a child and belonging to a house. Choose to become one of those people who are dear to the pastor by being a committed member of the Church. Soul Factory and The Pleasant Life Church are good places to begin with.
