THE ART OF FOLLOWING

“…but ever follow that which is good…”
1 Thessalonians 5:15
The Bible encourages us to be followers of good things. To follow means to stick to something or accept the leadership, command or guidance of someone. It is the key to greatness. These days, many people want to be so original such as to boast that they never received help or guidance from anyone – they are self-made. However, in God’s scheme of things, He blesses through following.
You must necessarily be following someone or some good thing. You can’t just be following yourself. You need to follow something good. One good thing to follow is the Church. Paul testified of the Thessalonians, saying, “For ye, brethren, became followers of the churches of God…” (1 Thess. 2:14). Be a follower of a Church, and be committed to it. As you follow, obey the instructions given you, and you shall surely rise to greatness. Make all the necessary sacrifices; overcome all excuses and challenges that may come your way – God is surely training you to be great. Follow the church from its onset. Be with it throughout its difficult times, and not just its success story.
A good place to start from is Soul Factory and the Pleasant Life Church. Be a follower of this ministry given by God, and you shall surely attain great heights through this.
