Prayer isn’t really a step of our journey, it is actually the journey. « Pray without ceasing… » 1 Thessalonians 5 :17. To begin with, what is prayer ? Prayer is the communication between God and us. It can simply be narrowed down to talking to God. As humans, we generally tend to soften up to people we regularly communicate with. If you are almost always in touch with another person, you are naturally drawn to the person, and it becomes very easy to talk to this person about anything and everything that concerns you. Also, as you keep communicating with this person, you get to know him/her better. Conversations that would have been very difficult to engage in, tends to become much easier between two people who are constantly in touch with each other. He doesn’t force His will down our throats, so it is up to us to constantly invite Him by praying to Him always. However, when the Bible says to pray all the time, we aren’t being told to be on our knees from morning to evening and praying without doing anything or engaging in other activities. All God wants is for us to be in a constant fellowship with Him. This creates a bond between us and Him, and allows Him to be involved in all aspects of our lives. When you are always in touch with God, His presence is made évident in your life... Read More
</oembed>
